Apollo Tyres Ltd has reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 7,968 crores for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, an increase of 17% from Rs 6,831 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The unaudited results for the quarter and for the first half were approved by the company's board of directors, which at the same meeting cleared a change at the head of its finance function.
Net profit for the quarter rose 13% to Rs 292 crores, against Rs 258 crores a year earlier. That figure includes an estimated pre-tax restructuring cost of Rs 26 crores, which the company disclosed as an exceptional item. Operating profit for the quarter was Rs 855 crores.
For the six months from April to September 2026, consolidated revenue reached Rs 15,366 crores, up 15% from Rs 13,392 crores in the corresponding period of FY2025-26. Operating profit for the half year was Rs 1,723 crores, and net profit came in at Rs 641 crores, compared with Rs 271 crores a year earlier. The same Rs 26 crores pre-tax restructuring charge, treated as an exceptional item, is reflected in the half-yearly profit figure.
The second-quarter revenue growth of 17% ran slightly ahead of the 15% pace recorded across the half year. Apollo said its Indian operations carried their strong revenue growth momentum into the second quarter, reflecting what the company described as the effectiveness of its growth initiatives. The results were presented on a consolidated basis.
Chairman Onkar Kanwar said growth across categories in India had been supported by sustained rural expansion efforts and the company's strategic association with cricket, while new product launches in the commercial vehicle segment in India strengthened performance during the past quarter. He also identified geopolitical tensions in West Asia as a continuing headwind, pointing to elevated input costs and supply chain disruptions.
